Anything that is exclusively a download requires only an account, which is an email address and a password. Your email address won’t be given to anyone, but if you’re nervous about it, get a throw-away one from Mailinator<\/a> or something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anything that needs to be physically shipped to you requires real personal information, like your real name, your real address, etc… This is collected so your physical item can be actually sent to you, and the shipping service we use (the US Postal Service) demands real data to do that. DO NOT set your name as Squirtlefuck Pineappletits and ask me to ship you something. They won’t take the package at the post office, and even if they do, they might not deliver it to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your transactions are recorded in the blockchain of whatever currency you use, and that is visible to anyone, so it’s up to you to control how your public wallet address is associated with you, personally. If you buy something physical, doing so creates an association in my records between a specific transaction and the data you’ve sent in. A clever\/dedicated person with governmental authority that is interested in you could potentially get a court order for my records, thus revealing you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I would argue that this is still more privacy-secure than a bank, but if somebody would kill you\/imprison you for buying something, it’s worth thinking very carefully about. I’d personally prefer you stole it rather than put yourself in danger by doing the right thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In most cases we indicate how long it will take to ship things on the product page itself. Generally this is within 72 hours, though this can be more if I’m making you something complicated\/custom-order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We ship using the US Postal Service most of the time. They’re the cheapest and they work pretty well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n International shipping varies from country to country, but generally has the same requirements as the USPS plus a few extra ones. If you order something physical and I can’t ship it to you, I’ll write you and offer you a refund or ask if there’s somewhere else I can ship it.
